Church, Family Reunion, and Jacksonisms!!!

Today has been a great fulfilled day...mostly with Jacksonisms!! That boys is feeling his oats today!!! This morning at church as he was walking to class he looked over at me across the pews and said "See you when I get back mom" and gave me a big wink!! He never stopped walking and never missed a beat!!!! He's a mess!!
After church, we went to the office for Nanaw's family reunion!! It was great to see everyone and we enjoyed some delicious fish!












After the reunion, my two sleepy boys went home for a nap!! After their nap, we headed to town to pick up some things and then headed to Poplar Bluff for a family night out!! On the way to town Jackson says, "Mom, where do you want to eat? It's up to you tonight!" LOL! I said I don't care Jackson, whatever y'all want!! He responded with, "I guess we can have Mexican if you want, and ice cream later...is that a deal?" Haha! Guess where we went?!? Mexican, WalMart and Marble Slab!!! He was a happy boy!!!









Tonight I showed him this picture on Brittany's blog and his response was..."Oh my mom, why is Landon taking naked pictures!!!!!" OMG...he clearly is at the lake in a swimsuit, but Jackson couldn't see that!!!


Lets see what else he has told us...he asked his dad if his cousin Mullen was a boy or a girl because he needed to find Easton a little girlfriend!! Since he has 4 already he says!!! Once we told him that Mullen was a boy and his cousin, we named a couple of little baby girls...I said there's Kora Jane, Kennedy's sister, to which he jumped off the couch, threw up his hands in the air and said, "Mom, James is Christy's boyfriend and he's not a baby or a girl!!!" Yes, I know I have a speech problem these days, Jane...James...obviously sounds the same!!!

This one I probably shouldn't share, but it happened, so here it is! Before I was going to take a bath, I had laid my night shirt and panties on the bed...the boys and Andy were up playing on the bed so I asked Andy to hand my my panties and shirt...to which Jackson responds by falling to the ground laughing saying "Panties, panties, did you say panties?!? That is silly and ridiculous!!" He was laughing hysterically like I had just said the funniest thing on Earth! We all got so tickled and were laughing and Easton couldn't help but get beside himself tickled too!!!! Laughter is good for the soul!!!!

One more for the record...when I was asking him what he learned in Sunday school today, he quickly responded with "About JESUS getting swallowed by the whale"...I asked him if he was sure about that or was it Jonah and the whale? "He shrugged his shoulders and smirked and said "Oh my, what was I thinking!!!!" (Later as I shared this with Christy, his teacher, she informed me that they learned about the dipping in the Jordan River to heal Leprosy) I asked Jackson after I talked to her if he was sure his lesson wasn't about Naaman and the dipping in the Jordan River to heal Leprosy and he said, "Yeah mom, that! Or Jesus's birth in the manger or him dying on the cross!!" At least he's learned something!!! He usually listens and can tell me all about their stories!!!! I'm telling you, he's full of it today!!!! I sure do love him and his little brother though!! I'm beyond thankful and blessed to have two sweet, precious, happy, healthy babies!!!!! Wouldn't trade them for the world!!
