Jackson's Birthday Eve!!!

Today was a beautiful day!! This morning I had to run to town to pick up some last minute party things so the boys stayed with daddy! Grams came and got Jackson to give him his birthday presents from she and Pa!! We appreciate his gifts so much and know he will have fun with them! The rest of the day we spent just playing at home! Logan, Molly, and Mullen came for a visit! We always enjoy them bring here but I failed to even snap a picture:( It was so pretty outside that the boys and I went outside to play on the playset for a while while daddy shot his gun! This afternoon we all took a much needed nap and cooked supper!! Jackson talked us out of one birthday present today...BROK the dinosaur! He was so excited and has literally played with it all afternoon and night! We got everything ready and can't wait for Jackson's 4th birthday tomorrow!!!

He is his mommy's boy!! This morning when he woke up he wanted milk, cartoons, and the heat on on the blanket!!!!

Tonight I started a post on Facebook and decided I would just post it on here instead....
On this night 4 years ago, Andy and I spent our last night as a family of two!! I remember having so many different feelings that night as we were going in to have Jackson the next day! I was so excited, scared, nervous, anxious, happy, uncomfortable, but most of all blessed! I had no idea how much my life would change!! I am so thankful for two precious, happy, healthy boys and so thankful for all of our family and friends who were right there by our side that next day and all of these days that have followed!! These have been the best 4 years of my life being a mommy!!! Tonight is different from that night 4 years ago when the house was spotless and everything was in its place and it was so quiet...tonight there are toys everywhere and non stop sounds of two special little boys as we do last minute preparations for Jackson's 4th birthday party tomorrow and I wouldn't have it any other way!!!! I am so thankful that God has blessed me with these two baby boys, and I pray every single day that I can be the best mom to them and to raise them up into Christian men who honor our God! My pregnancies with both boys were not terrible by no means but they weren't exactly great either..my labor and delivery with both were so smooth and easy, they were miracles....Feb. 23, 2010, and March 13,2013 were two of the greatest days of my life, honestly!! They were the days I met my boys but they were special days in which we were surrounded by those we love and those whom love us!!! I think back on those days all the time and I smile!!! Sweet, precious memories that I will forever hold in my heart!!!! 4 years ago tomorrow...my life changed....my heart now walks around outside my body in my two boys!!! On the day we brought Jackson home from the hospital one of the songs that played on the way home that I remember so clearly was George Strait's I Saw God Today! On February 23, 2010, there is not one single doubt in my mind that I did see God that day and I did again on March 13, 2013! Babies are precious gifts from God and I am so thankful I received mine from him!!!
