Today was such an exciting day!!!! Who would've thought after the big fish catch yesterday that today would be better?!? Well, it was!!!! This afternoon....with a lot of work and help from Pop, Jackson finally learned to swim all by himself!!!!!! It was the craziest thing ever! When we first went to the lake, he still wanted someone holding on to him at all times and wouldn't go out past where he couldn't easily touch without someone holding him....by the time we left the lake today he was literally swimming like a fish!!! He didn't need to hold on to anything and was swimming everywhere, even some pretty far distances all by himself!!!! He even got so good he started challenging people to race!!!! It beat anything I've ever seen and literally brought tears to my eyes!!! Pop gradually worked him to holding on to the noodle and getting really comfortable with it, to where Jackson started letting go and chasing the noodle, to where he threw the noodle to Pop, and told him he didn't need any help anymore!!! For this water loving mom, it was a proud day!!!! He said when we left his favorite thing ever is swimming by himself;) Love that sweet boy to pieces!!! And speaking of sweet boys, Easton was born for the lake too!! He loves it!!! He's so good on the boat and loves being in the water!!! He just kicks and has fun!!!
We ran to the store this morning and Jackson had to pick up a few things including a game of horseshoes, a ring toss set, and water balloons!!! It made for a fun morning;)
The baby is full of smiles and is so happy all the time!
Jackson is also becoming an expert at tube riding!!! He's got all the hand signals down and wants to go really fast!!! Today he rode with BB, mom, and even made Pop ride with him:) LOVE seeing him smiling and having so much fun! #makingpreciousmemories
