Day at home!

Today was not just real interesting! Me and the boys stayed home all day...Jackson never even put "real" clothes on! That's ok though because those days are getting numbered for a while!! We just played today and worked on some things around the house!! Uncle Logan came and had dinner with us and Jackson and I made him homemade chocolate ice cream!!! Nanaw and papa came to have some too! I didn't do a good job of taking pictures today either:-/

Fun! Fun!!

This morning we got up and got ready to head to town for lunch with some of our favorites!! Jackson was so excited to go eat with his friends!!! We enjoyed lunch and visiting with Jessica, Brady, Jennifer, Jake, Leigh, Tripp, Christy, Reid, me and my boys!!!! It was such a fun mommy and sons outing:) After lunch we came home and just played for a little while! Mommy and Daddy had to attend an online conference call meeting regarding our house addition and then we got ready to head to Paragould! Mommy had to run a few errands, we ate dinner at Chili's, went to Wal-Mart and then met Uncle Landon with his truck that got fixed before heading back home to play with our fun new Planes toy from the new movies Planes that we can't wait to go see next week!!! It was another great day!

A day in the life of....

The Jett Boys!!! This morning we took advantage of one of our last summer days and slept in late!!! One thing I will miss most about summer is snuggling and hugging and kissing my babies all morning while watching cartoons in bed😂
We did finally get up and went to lunch with Christy, Reid, Nay, and Memaw! We then ran a few errands and came home to rest!! We played and just hung out all afternoon! We shucked corn and did some things around the house! This afternoon some things came up at school so Nanaw watched Easton while Jackson and I ran and took care of a few things in my room!!! Jackson was a great help and even got to spray paint some things😁! We brought supper home for daddy, enjoyed watermelon from "Coach" Mike then all had baths and bed!!!

Sunday Funday!!

This morning we went to church and then went to Nanaw's for lunch!! Nana had to head home to work on some things so there were lots of tears at our house this afternoon!!! The cure for all things is to snuggle with mommy and that's just what we did!! Me and the boys watched cartoons in the recliner until they both fell asleep and we moved to the couch!! Although there were 6,000 things I should have done this afternoon, I laid on the couch and held my babies while they slept for 2 hours!!! It was perfect! There is no place in this world that I would've rather been this afternoon then snuggling and kissing my babies!!! Jackson wanted pizza tonight we we took a quick trip to town for pizza and them enjoyed watermelon! After dinner mom was going for a run when someone thought they should tag along!! He did pretty good for a while but was sweating and thirsty by the end and just "needed" me to carry him the rest of the way !! He rode on my back and whew! It was a workout:) Our Jacksonism for the day....when we were quiet a ways from the house, he looked at me so serious and said as plain as day, "Well mom, we did it! We are DEFINITELY a long way from home! I think it would be the best idea to turn around now!" I know that doesn't sound real entertaining, but I'm amazed by his extensive vocabulary...he uses new words daily and in the right context! I ordered a book titled "Kids say the cutest things!" to record memorable quotes in.... I can't wait to get it in!! I have several things to record!!!!

Mommy's Helpers!!

Saturday Nana, Jackson, Easton, and I spent the day in my classroom!!! Lets just say its a work in progress!! I've never felt so unprepared:( Hopefully I will get a lot done this week!!!

The Day of Visitors!!!

Friday the boys got to see and visit with lots of people!!! They stayed at the office with Nay and Papa, then they saw Grams and Pa and Nanaw, then Granny and Papa Jett came by for a visit, then Aunt Mona came by for a visit, then later tonight Logan came over to visit and then Nana came to spend the weekend!!!! Yay!!!
