Silly Boys and Sea Monkeys!!

This morning we put the eggs of our Sea Monkeys in! It said it would take 5 days...Jackson looked every 30 seconds to see if he saw anything... These may be an epic failure... I see a real fish in our new future:-/

Tonight Andy and I went to Manila and then went out to eat with some friends from college we haven't seen in a while! Grams and Nanaw kept the boys and these were the pictures of them I got:)

A day at home!!

After Easton's shots yesterday and some unexpected stress in our lives, mommy and the boys decided to just spend the entire day at home today!! We cancelled appointments and stayed in! Easton still is not feeling great after his shot, as I'm typing this he is up crying and can't get comfortable to sleep which is very out of character for him!!! Just praying he will feel better in the morning!! Today we started growing our Sea Monkeys!! Jackson is excited about this! My nanny would be so proud:) Tomorrow we put in the eggs and let our sea monkeys begin hatching...fingers crossed!! We cut one of Coach Mike's cantaloupes and Jackson pretty much ate the entire thing! We read lots of books and played several board games today including Animal Sequence and Candy Land!! This afternoon daddy came home and grilled steaks for us for dinner and we made homemade peach ice cream!! It hit the spot and was a happy ending to the day! Nanaw, Papa, Grams, and Pa came by to have a bowl of ice cream! We then had very colorful baths at bath time thanks to Jackson and his color tub tablets and got all ready for bed!!! Mommy has been a little (a lot) stressed and anxious today so I've prayed a lot today and tonight and reminded myself to turn it all over to God!! He is great and will take care of everything! What comfort there is in knowing that!! I snuggled with my boys some more, kissed them, and have held them tight all night...they make all things better:) I am so very thankful to be their mommy!!!!
I ask all our friends and family to please pray for our dear friend Angie and her family as they find comfort and peace during this time as they prepare funeral services for her mother!!! After helping Angie with some songs and things tonight I just broke down and cried with her because even though her mother was very sick, and an older lady, and she is in a better place now, she was still her mother and it would be so hard to lose your mother no matter when or how it is!!! Mothers are so special and dear to us, and my heart goes out to Angie!!!

Jackson loves games !!

4 month check up!

Today Easton had his 4 month check up!!! He weighs 18 lbs 3 1/2 oz and is 25 1/2 inches long! Dr. Sneed went on and on about how cute he is, how strong he is, and how he is just perfect!!! Mommy and Daddy agreed:) He was so good until those stinky shots:( He has had a long afternoon....he has cried quiet a bit which is not like him! He's even been crying real tears of pain!! The hardest thing as a mommy is to see your babies hurting!! Mommy has shed a few tears herself today! Hopefully we will all sleep well and rest some tomorrow!

Poor sweet baby!!

LOVE reading to both my boys!! #my lap runneth over!! #love little moments!

Sunday at home!!

Today was one of the first Sunday's we have been home in a while and it was nice!! This morning we went to church, then had lunch at Nanaw's! After lunch we came home and spent the rest of the day and night playing and watching cartoons!!! It was so nice and as always fun spending time with my boys!!! Tonight we had a break through during bath time...Jackson started holding his nose and going under water!!! He did this totally on his own! I was telling him how proud of him I was and he looked at me and said, "Yeah but I'm not doing it in the pool or lake, do you know that they are deep!!" Haha;) He's so much fun!!! Oh, I have to document a few more Jacksonisms from this week!! Jackson was talking to us the other day about turning 4 next year one his birthday!! He looked at Andy so seriously and said "Daddy when I grow as big as you, I'm going to start sleeping on your side!! Then you can sleep in the middle!!" Hehe;)
Sally came to visit one day last week so we went over to the office...she was holding Easton and we were all just visiting when Andy walked in..Jackson went over to Sally and said, "that's my daddy! But mommy and me just call him Andy!!" Ha!
I mean... Where does he come up with this stuff?!?
In Easton's world there is a lot of babbling going on but no Eastonisms yet:) However, he has been eating squash for the past two days and seems to kinda like it!!! He also is really figuring his feet out!! The minute you sit him in the bath tub he starts kicking 90-nothing and just laughs and laughs!!! Pure sweetness!!! I cannot imagine my life or our home without these two angels!!

This morning when my alarm went off for church, I had to just take a minute and admire these two peaceful, sleeping babies!!

Jackson went in his toy room to play and after a few minutes all I heard was momma, uh momma! I think I need you!! I went in there and this is where he was...stuck in his toy box!! He sure got in there quietly!

Easton doing what he does best, smiling and playing in his exersaucer!!

Saturday at the River!!

This morning the boys and I got up and played and watched cartoons! Daddy came home and wanted to go to the river so we got ready and headed to spend the afternoon at the river!! Nanaw and Papa wanted to keep Easton so we dropped him off there and then went and enjoyed boat riding, swimming, and floating!! Jackson really LOVES the water these days, especially since he can swim by himself now!! After the river, daddy went to pick up dinner and we spent the night in just playing and enjoying each other!!! My favorite part of the entire day was right before bed we all 4 were just laying on the bed playing and visiting...Jackson would tickle or hug Easton and Easton would laugh out loud uncontrollably!!! It was the sweetest sound in all the world!!! Both boys were just laughing away and were all smiles!!! Moments like that make the rest of the world completely disappear!!! Love my boys so, so much!!!

Selfies! Ha!

Enjoying Gram's cantaloupe snack!!

Jackson had Easton wearing my glasses!

Friday Fun day!!

I'm having trouble coming up with titles because pretty much every day is a fun day for us right now:) As I type that I am reminded how truly blessed I am!!! This morning we went to town for Jackson to get a haircut and then we met daddy and the boys for lunch!! After lunch, we were headed home and Jackson begged to go to the park..so guess where we ended up?!? You got it...the park!! Even during the hottest part of a summer day!! We had fun though!!! After that we went by the office to take care of some things and ended up on an errand to town for dad!!! After that we went home and mom and both boys took a little nap!!! It was nice just to lay there and relax!! Soon Daddy and Uncle Logan came in and wanted dinner!! We quickly got ready and went to Poplar Bluff to eat with Uncle Logan and Aunt Molly!! Both boys were really good and we had a great night!!! Now everyone is going night night and getting ready for tomorrow!!

Learning how to fold wash cloths with mommy!

All smiles at dinner!!

Just hanging out and playing with his bib:)
