My little baby magnolia tree has its first flower blooming!!!! I was so surprised to see it!!! Jackson and mommy enjoyed a much needed day at home today!!! We rested and got lots of things done! We had dinner at Gram and Pa's house and visited there for a whole before mommy went to decorate for bible school! Mommy discovered a new favorite song tonight titled "Dirty Dishes." it is about a mother thanking God for the little things we often complain about or don't like such as loud children, slamming doors, loads of laundry, broken crayons in the carpet, daddy working so late, a messy kitchen, and dirty dishes!! In reality, these little things are all such wonderful blessings and all that really matters in life! It touched my heart and reminded me to take a second look that things! I'm thankful I have a noisy kid to love, I'm thankful I have slamming doors to my warm home, I'm thankful my family and I have enough clothes that I have piles of laundry, I'm thankful that I have a hard- working husband who works long hours to provide for us, and I'm thankful I have dirty dishes which mean we have food to eat, family dinners, and happy bellies:) I'm thankful for so much more but the older I get the more I am reminded that it's the little, simple things in life that mean the most!!!!
