Friday in Marion!

Today we pretty much just played all day!!! Jackson and Pop had a big day....they played inside all morning then enjoyed the beautiful day outside all afternoon!! They rode bikes, Jackson rode his fire truck and lightening, they played on the trampoline, played ball, played chase and tag, raced, and the list goes on!!! Mommy and Easton took a little outing to Babies R Us this afternoon...mommy sure loves that store!!! It was dangerous that was my first place to really get "out"! Nana came home and played with us more!! Landon and BB came over and Easton went to his first restaurant, Cracker Barrel! Jackson had a big time!!

Our first trip...

With just mommy and her two boys!! This morning we got ready and all packed up and headed out! Our first stop was to Jonesboro to the pediatrician for Easton's checkup then on to Marion to spend a few nights with Nana and Pop!! The boys were great at the doctor!!! Easton weighs 8 lbs 8 oz and is a little over 21 inches long!! She said that both boys are perfect!! We left the doctor and headed to Marion! After visiting with Nana for a bit, we headed to Hughes to see Raleigh and to meet Davis!!! He's so cute and I already love him so much!!! I wish we lived closer together so the boys could grow up together like Raleigh and I did!!! We have been friends since kindergarten and I love her and her family dearly!! After a wonderful visit, we went back to Marion! We played at Nana's and visited with Landon and BB!! It was a busy but great day! Counting my many blessings tonight and always!

3 weeks new!!!

Yesterday I thought I posted but it's not showing up so I will post again!! Easton was 3 weeks old yesterday! He's growing so fast and getting so big! Granny and Papa came to visit us! We really enjoyed our time with them!!! Daddy started planting today so it's busy time again around here!!

Terrific Tuesday!

This morning Jackson, Mommy, and Easton stayed in bed late and snuggled and watched cartoons!!! It was so much fun!!!!! Then we got ready for the day...mommy and Jackson had to go to town today but seeing as how it was sleeting, we asked Grams to come watch Easton for a little bit! We picked up Easton's birthday announcements in town, ordered our pictures, went to the bank, took Good Luck cookie cakes and juice to my kids at school (they take the Benchmark next week), and went to McDonald's! Jackson and I really enjoyed our little outing together!! After we left school though, Jackson decided he needed a cookie cake so he called his daddy to see if he could pick him up one! LOL! Needless to say, Daddy, Uncle Logan, and Nick came this afternoon and enjoyed cookie cake and milk with us:) We played all afternoon with Jackson's Christmas toys the Easter bunny brought:) :) :)! Daddy cooked steaks for dinner and Mol and Logan came by for a quick visit!!! My house is a mess and it looks like a tornado, but I've decided the mess will be there when my kids are grown and gone! I'll have a clean house again then! Right now, I'm cherishing every moment with them right now!!!! Even if we sit in the recliner and rock and watch cartoons for a solid hour:) I love a saying I heard a while back..."If you are here to see my house, make an appointment. If you are here to see my kids, come on in!" Another one I especially like (and am having a canvas made with it) says, "Please excuse the mess, our kids are making memories!"
