Our new favorite movie....

is Lion King!!!! This is the 5th night in a row Jackson has wanted to watch Lion King before going to bed!! That's ok with mommy because The Lion King is one of my all time favorites!!! Jackson crawls up in our bed and will watch the whole thing! I love this sweet snuggle time with him!!!

2 years in a nut shell....

I decided to make a list on here of some of Jackson's favorite things at 2 years old because his baby book doesn't have a place for these types of things:)
*we went to the doctor Friday and Jackson weighs 32lbs and is 34 1/2 inches tall
*he didn't like getting a shot or having his ears checked
*he loves Elmo!! He also likes Ernie, Cookie Monster, Abby, and other sesame street characters
*his current favorite movies are Lion King, Dumbo, Charlie Brown, Caliou, and Elmo!
*he loves hot dogs, ham, pizza...really any kind of meat or fruit! He also likes cake, ice cream, and snacks! His favorite drink is still MILK!!!
*he LOVES playing outside or going to the park! He loves jumping, climbing, running, and racing! His favorite game is chase;)
*he loves his home!
*he is beginning to count and say his ABC's.
*he knows his colors, some shapes, and body parts.
* he wants to dress and undress himself sometimes!
*he is changing Grams name to Mimi!
*he loves playing with other kids especially Jake, Seth, and Clay!
*we are very excited about Reid coming!
* he knows his animals and animal sounds
*he is excited about meeting Mallie (Brittany's new puppy).
* he loves baths!!!!! He usually wants to take 2 or 3 a day!!! He splashes , swims, colors, and plays bubbles!
*he buckles himself in his carseat (becoming Mr. Independent)
*he DOES NOT like haircuts
*he is getting better about staying in nursery at church! He went to big boy class with Seth last week and drew a picture of Solomon's Temple:)
* he got his first play-doh
*we are about to start trying to potty train!
*he loves his sesame street card game!
*he is very animated and talkative!
*when he's tired he plays with mommy's hair
*he likes to sing "Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star" at bedtime
*he wants to hold mommy's hand during car rides!
*he naps daily, usually for around 2 hours!
* he doesn't go to bed until about 9:30 pm
*he loves any kind of ball
*he finally will talk on the phone some
*he is getting good at saying please and thank you!
*he has his mommy and daddy's hearts and is the center of our world!!!!
