Oh me....

Did y'all say sleep apnea or sleep alien?!? Andy got his CPAP machine for sleep apnea today and Jackson had to try it on! I sent this picture to a few people and a friend replied back and asked me if we were acting out scenes from Star Wars!!! All joking aside, we sure hope this helps daddy!!

Look who....

Is finally feeling better!!!! This mommy couldn't be happier!!! We have had a very, very rough 5 or 6 days!!! Poor little guy has been sick, sick!!! We are so thankful he is finally feeling better and on the mend!!!

One month from today....

Jackson will be 3!!!!!!! I can't believe it!!! These have been the best 3 years of my life...I can't believe how fast he is growing up!!! We love him so much!!! One month from today we will be celebrating Jackson turning 3!! He is so excited about his birthday party!!! His invitations came in the mail yesterday, and he just loves them!!!! We can't wait to party with him!!! Hoping to get everyone their "party passes" soon;)

Sick little boy!!

We have had a very sick little boy for the past 30 hours!! We went to the doctor today and found out that Jackson has the flu:( He has been so pitiful and has been running very high temps!!! He's on medicine now so hopefully we will be on the mend!!! My heart breaks to see him feel so bad!!!

We did get one smile out of him today...when we got to the dr., they put us in the Toy Story room!!!!! This was perfect because our waiting time wasn't so bad bc Toy Story scenes and characters were on every wall...and Toy Story is one of our very favorites:)


Poor baby doesn't feel good but he wanted to get down and play a game!!! He had to have covers because he was cold!

Quick night out!!!

Last night we had to run to Poplar Bluff to pick up a few things so we decided to go eat first! Andy wanted to go to Buffalo Wild Wings since we haven't been in forever and he has been on a diet! He looked up exactly what he could eat before we went!!! He's doing really good watching what he eats and exercising! Hope I can do the same after baby Easton arrives:) Jackson had to have quarters to play the games first! Then we went to Wal-Mart and he talked his Daddy into a new toy!!!! No, he has no toys at all to play with at home and it's not like Valentines, Easter, and his birthday are coming up, so why not?!? LOL! He was so excited about his new toy though and was so sweet to keep thanking us:) He is a little mess but we sure love him ALOT!!!!

Lazy Saturday!!

Mommy hasn't been feeling well at all and Daddy is sick so we had a very lazy Saturday...like one where you stay in pjs all day!! Jackson and mommy just played and played today. We watched a few movies and took a nap! My favorite quote of the day came as we were about to lay down and take a nap...Jackson said, "Do you know what my favorite thing is?" I asked, "What is your favorite thing?" He responded with, "mommy, playing with you is my favorite thing!" My heart melted right then and I knew that playing all day, even when I didn't feel good, was worth every second!!!!!! I love my sweet boy so much!!! Tonight, we went to town to get something to eat because mommy wasn't cooking and nothing sounded good!! Thank goodness for drive-thru because Jackson wore his pjs on to town! Glad we didn't have car trouble!!! After dinner, Noah came for his Saturday night visit and play time!! We ate some of Nana's DELICIOUS homemade cheesecake she made us and played more games!!! I just hope and pray that Mommy and Daddy both feel better tomorrow!

The apple of my eye....

I always have known my whole life that I wanted to be a mommy...now I know that it is one of my main purposes in life...and I had no idea it would be so much fun!!! This sweet angel makes me smile daily and warms my heart!!! Tonight Andy went to the sleep clinic for an overnight study so while Jackson and I were laying in bed, he told me that he can't wait for his best buddy Easton to get here...I couldn't agree more!!!!
This picture is actually from last night after I posted...he had to have a few minutes before bedtime on his "iPad"!


Tonight we played every game we have and also built with Lincoln Logs...I'm so blessed to be able to spend my afternoons and nights at home just playing and doing whatever little bit wants to!!! Oh, and please take note of his pants...he's back in his pj pants because he had an accident today...he told me when I picked him up that he told Nay that he had to potty and she said he could just go in his pants!!!!!!!!!! She doesn't agree with this story;) What a mess!!!

Snow Day!!!

Jackson and mommy LOVE a good snow day!!! Today was just that! We rested and played and got a few things done today!!! We stayed in our pjs and just enjoyed being at home all day long!!!! We were supposed to go to the doctor to check on Easton but that got rescheduled so we even managed to snuggle up and take a good, long, much needed nap together!!!! I treasure days like today!!! I love this little boy so much!!!! In just a few weeks, little brother will be here for us to play with, snuggle with, and love on!!! We can't wait:)

Snow Day breakfast!!! Jackson wanted a buffet of sausage, strawberries, fruit loops, fruit snacks, and orange juice:) we ate in the living room and took in some cartoons!!


The next American Idol!!! Jackson wanted to get his microphone out and we had oh so much fun!!! We sang our hearts out!!!! We even added more instruments to our band as the night progressed!!

Perfect ending!!! Nice warm bath, fresh new Jammie's, and in bed watching a movie!!!!

"Snow" much fun!!!

Tonight Jackson and I decided we would go out and play in the snow!! He LOVES the snow!!! We stayed out in the back yard for a while just running and playing and throwing snowballs!!! He also decided to make some snow angels and begged me to please make one too....so, you guessed it!, At almost 32 weeks pregnant, this mommy was down on the ground making snow angels!!! We laughed and laughed and laughed!!! I'm feeling it now, but it was so much fun and worth it to hear that laughter and see that sweet ear to ear smile!!!! Since we are having a snow day tomorrow, he is hoping to build a snowman and to go sledding....we shall see how that goes:) This mommy really just needs a day of rest!!! I am attaching a few pictures I have on my phone, but have some cute ones on my camera I hope to get loaded on here soon!!! Everyone be safe in this winter weather!!!

Let It Snow!!

Today we got out of school early due to snow!!! This is quiet comical because this morning about 7:30 I texted several of my teacher friends that I needed a snow day!! An hour later, a friend I didn't text, texted me that she sure could use a snow day!!! LOL! Teachers are worse than kids!!!! I really had no idea we would get out early today, but the snow came all at once and stuck fast!!! The ground was completely covered within the first hour!! I needed to run to Walmart before coming home so my sweet husband rode to town with Renee so he could help me in town and drive me home!! These pictures were of our drive home about 1:45 today! I hope the snow keeps falling so Jackson and I can play!!!

My baby is growing up....

Jackson is really becoming a big boy!!! A sweet, cute one too!!!! He is 2 years and 11 months now...almost 3 years old!!!! It is so hard to believe he will be 3 next month...wow how time flies!!!! These have been the best 3 years of my life...I absolutely love being a mommy!!! I can't wait to have Easton here to love on and share my love with even more!!!!! My boys are my life! I've said it before and I say it again, "My greatest blessings call me mommy!"

89th General Assembly!

Today we were in Little Rock for the opening of the 89th general assembly! Pa got sworn in as a new state representative!!! We are so very proud of him! An added bonus was we were there to hear my friend Allison Waldrip sing the National Anthem and to see Davy Carter get sworn in as the Speaker of the House!

Happy Birthday to me!!

We celebrated my birthday in Success Friday night at Gram and Pa's before Pa left for Little Rock! Today, on my actual birthday, was Joe's swearing in ceremony in Little Rock so we came down Sunday after church to stay! Andy and I had a wonderful night Sunday, just the two of us! We went to the mall(because we left my dress at home:-/), then he took me for an early birthday dinner, then we went back to the hotel for a night of resting and movies!! It was so nice and just what we needed!! Monday we got up and enjoyed birthday breakfast at the Peabody, then went to the Capitol to watch Representative Jett take his spot in the House, followed by a celebration dinner at Sunny Williams where my sweet in-laws had this cookie cake for me :), then we stopped quickly at Hays in Searcy where i got the boys a few things, then we headed home to pick up the munchkin!!! I've missed him so much and am so ready to see him!!! This week we are going to Jonesboro to celebrate my birthday again with my parents! Yay:)

Go Noah!!!

Tuesday night we went on a little outing to Paragould to watch Noah play ball! First, we had to stop and pick up a birthday cake! Jackson didn't think it was cute so he had to get him and dad some soccer cupcakes with sprinkles!!! He was so excited to show dad! He surprised his dad with them for his birthday (again!!) I guess Andy gets to celebrate for weeks!!!


Our next stop was to Brickoven for pizza!!! We sure love this place!! Jackson enjoyed his very own pizza!


Then we finally made it to the gym to watch Noah and the Paragould Rams!! They played Blytheville and it was a very good game!! The Rams won and Noah played good! We were so proud of him!
