What a Wonderful Day!!!!

We had such a wonderful day today!!! After Jackson and Mommy's sicknesses last week and weekend, we slept in this morning and then headed to town for river snacks to get ready for a day at the river!!! Jackson immediately spotted a watermelon and had to have one!!! That's fine by me because they are my favorites!!!! Oh what I would give for Jackson to be able to eat a watermelon with my Nanny!!!! If heaven wasn't so far away, we'd pack up and go for the day!!!!
After our store trip, Nay came over and had lunch with us! It was so nice and enjoyable!! We love her so much and love her being with us!!!! After lunch we had a fun afternoon at the river with friends!!! Jackson had a big time playing with Kaytie and Mallory!!! After the river, Jackson took a quick snooze and we headed to eat Mexican with daddy!!! This is another one of mommy and Jackson's favorite:) he loves the fish (they have an aquarium) and the chips!!! After dinner, we enjoyed a nice summer ride around the farm followed by watermelon for dessert!!! Wonderful day! Thank you God for our family, friends, and all our many blessings!!

Sweet summertime!!!! Probably one of my favorite things of all time is riding around the farm late afternoon/night during the summer checking the pumps and fields!!! I love the windows rolled down and the radio up and the sound of power units running!!!! Jackson loves this too!! Oh, sweet summertime!

Memorial Day Weekend!

After a wonderful Saturday yesterday, today we came back to Marion to Nana and Pop's to spend the day and swim with Jackson!!! A great time was had by all!!!! So blessed!

There is nothing sweeter than a sleeping baby!!! Jackson had a rough night again last night after being sick so I enjoyed just laying and watching him sleep so soundly this morning!! Love this angel!

Another day!!!

Just when I thought Jackson was on the mend, he got even sicker!!! At 2:00 am I woke up to "Mommy, mommy help me!" and the vomiting started there:( Jackson was sick ALL night...poor little guy threw up until about 6:00 this morning! It broke my heart because I felt so helpless!!!!! I hate to see him feel bad! Today we have tried to rest and washed ALOT of sheets, towels, blankets, and clothes from the morning!!! This afternoon Ms. Brenda came so we had to get out for a while....I knew there was one thing that might make him feel better....HORSEYS!!!!!! We went up to Mr. Kimbrell's for a visit and to see the horses!! Jackson loved it but it wore him down quick!! Hopefully he will be well again soon!!!!

Jackson was all smiles after his bath tonight!!! His bumps are clearing up so hopefully we are on the mend!!!! I love, love, love bath time, teeth brushing, saying our prayers, and bed time....so, so sweet!!!! I'm so thankful to have summer time to spend with him! Love this boy so much!

Taking care of the homeless!

Today the boys found a pitiful little puppy out on the farm....his bones are sticking out and he's starving to death! Jackson has worried all afternoon about him so we had to take the baby puppy some more of his milk....he was so excited about taking the milk over and checking on the baby puppy!

Trip to the doctor!

Unfortunately today we had to take a trip to the doctor!!! :( sad way to start summer but hopefully will be well again soon!!! Jackson kept hiding from the nurses and doctors because he told me that he doesn't like doctors anymore!!! He weighed 30.4 lbs and 35 inches tall!

Park Play Date!

This morning we had a play date with Jake at the park!!! The boys had so much fun and can't wait to play again!!
