Jackson Jett- 2 years 2 months

Jackson is just learning and growing each day!!!! He is a very big talker and is really starting to use complete sentences!! He can count to 10 and name most letters and shapes! He knows his colors and all animals! He names the letters of his name frontward and backward...we like to think the little guy is pretty smart:) He plays so hard and goes 90 to nothing! We love this weather because we spend most of our time outdoors! Jackson loves watering the plants and has recently discovered playing in the mud!! He is very much a home body and often asks to just go home!!! He loves sliding too!! Some of his favorite foods include ham, melon, and strawberries! He still loves his milk!! He really likes watching Sprout, Elmo's Springtime, and Cailou! Jackson still takes a 2 hour nap each afternoon and is still in diapers! We hope to attempt potty training this summer!! Jackson is very sweet and lovable and loves to give mommy hugs and kisses!!!! Those four little words "I live you mommy" are music to my ears! We love reading books and saying our prayers each night! Jackson loves bath time but hates getting his hair washed!!!! He also loves brushing his teeth and being Mr. Independent!!! We are experiencing the times of "I do it!" Jackson works the I pad like a pro and loves his alphabet game!! This summer we plan to spend lots of time at the lake and river which should be so much fun because he loves outside and water!!! Every day is truly a blessing and we thank God daily for choosing us to be Jackson's parents!!! I will give a general update again soon:) Time just seems to fly by......until next time!

Saturday night!!

Today has been a wonderful Saturday!!! This morning we had the Relay for Life Bake Sale where we made over $700!!!!! After the sale, Mommy, Daddy, and Jackson had lunch then all had a nice, long nap:) We spent the rest of the afternoon and night with baby Reid, Christy, and James!! It was wonderful!! Reid is such a sweet baby! We love him so much!!!

Noah's Prom Night

Friday night our cousin Noah had his Jr. Prom!!! Daddy kept Jackson so mommy could go to the grand march! Noah looked so handsome! So glad I was able to go see him on his special night!! I texted him today and asked how prom was and he responded AWESOME!!! :) We love that guy!!

Every single day is a blessing!!

Especially when you are the mommy to this sweet little boy!!!! This afternoon, I had my own little Linus! :)

Jackson grabbed the beater when I finished the mashed potatoes tonight and took off to show his daddy he was eating taters!!! Here I found him standing in the bathroom chowing down!!

Reid Smith Varvil!!!! Reid was born Tuesday, April 17th at 7:24 p.m He was 7lbs 9.5 oz and 21.5 inches long!!! He is perfect and absolutely adorable!!!! His mommy and daddy are both so proud and both did great!!! We are so ready for them to come home so we can spoil Baby Reid rotten!!! I love this little guy so much already and can't wait for him and Jackson to grow up together and be best buddies!!!! Congratulations Varvils!! We love you so much!!!!

Wacky Wednesday!!

Today Jackson was full of the sillies when we got home!!! He wanted to play in back of my car with his sand toys!!! He's just so much fun and so funny!!!!

I had to post about our newest family tradition!! Every night before bed we watch Caillou together....that's not the fun part though! Jackson LOVES the theme song! Every single night before it comes on, he says, "Daddy ready?", "mommy ready?", and then his daddy asks if Jackson is ready! We all three have to sing the entire song and mommy and daddy can't miss a word:) Love little moments like these!!!!!!

Ice cream run!

After Wal-Mart, we had to go to Marble Slab to get an ice cream treat!! Jackson loves that place!! He walked right in and told the lady he'd like pink ice cream with a spoon! He made sure his daddy ordered too and they enjoyed it together:)

Sunday Supper!!

After spending the weekend with Nana and Pops, Jackson got to pick supper:) We had chicken fries and curly fries and he and Daddy wanted to sit on the couch to eat and watch t.v. Not the best habit I know, but we sure had fun!! :) We aren't perfect, but we are perfect for each other!!! I love these two boys with all my heart!!!

Well, it's official...my baby is growing up!!!!!! He's moved up to the big slide and does it all by himself!!! Last Sunday, he hollered "Bye Mom" as he took off up the steps with Clay and Seth to Sunday School, and yesterday when I met my mom (Nana) in Jonesboro with him, he immediately told me he was going to Nana's house in Nana's car and said "Bye Mom!" when we finished dinner!!!!! Of course that didn't cut it, I made him give me lots of hugs and kisses and tell me how much he loved me so I could tell him more!!! It's just so hard to believe that he is getting so big!!! He is definitely Mr. Independent right now! He has so much fun and I love him so much!!!

He's having so much fun at Nana and Pop's house!!! Can't wait to see him tomorrow:)

Happy Sibling's Day!!!

Today is Sibling's Day and this is a picture of me and my brother that I found on my phone!!!! My brother may not be perfect, but he is perfect to me!!! I love this boy so much and have truly loved and enjoyed every minute of growing up with him, and now sharing in our own families together!!! He is such a wonderful uncle and there is nothing that warms this Mother's heart more than someone who loves my child!! I thank God daily for my brother and my family!!!!! I love you Landon!!
