New Years Eve!!

On this last day of 2012, we came to Marion to spend New Years Eve night with Nana and to get things ready for Easton!! Today we picked up his baby bedding and several other things for his room! Jackson had a big time in Garden Ridge today!!! We then went to eat with Nana, Landon, and BB and then came home to play games and let Daddy and Landon watch football!!! We had so much fun playing our new games!! Jackson is so into game playing right now! It's so much fun!!! Uncle Landon also helped his figure out some of his fireman gear he got for Christmas and the last picture I posted shows the outcome of that!!!! Let's just say it was like Jackson had a backpack full of water and after a few minutes everyone was soaked and he was having a blast!!!!! These low key nights are some of my very favorites!!! We enjoyed some of Nana's delicious homemade cheesecake...it was heavenly!!! I guess the saying is true that how you spend New Years Eve is an indication of how you will spend the new year!! I spent it playing with Jackson, visiting with my family and friends, getting ready for Easton, and indulging in homemade cheesecake!!! Bring on 2013 for me!! Hehe;) I have been so very blessed in 2012! We have definitely been faced with some challenges but our blessings outnumber anything else!!! God has blessed us with another wonderful year with our friends and family, such a fun year with Jackson, and now we look forward to the welcoming of our newest blessing Easton this new year in 2013!!! I can't wait to see all that God has in store for us this new year!! I just pray that he will continue to be with me and guide me every single step of the way!!! We hope you all have a blessed new year and enjoy every minute of 2013!!! Happy New Year!!!

Family Christmas!

Saturday we wrapped up Christmas with our last two family Christmas get togethers! Both were at the office so thankfully we didn't have far to travel!! We had Ennis Christmas at lunch and Moore Christmas that night! It is neat how these families still get together each year! Jackson sure enjoyed playing with all the kids!!!

Happy Birthday Daddy!!!

Thursday was Daddy's 29th birthday!!! While mommy and daddy ran to Memphis to make some returns and have lunch, Jackson and Pop went shopping for a birthday cake and ice cream because Jackson wanted to pick out a surprise cake!!! And that he did...Pop said Jackson wouldn't get one of the "birthday" cakes, he only wanted the blue one with penguins! He said it was his favorite and would be Daddy's favorite too!!!! And that it was! For dinner that night, Daddy chose to go to The BBQ Shop in Memphis! A great time was had by all!! Pop, Jackson, and Uncle Landon even managed to squeeze in a quick snowball fight!!!

Christmas 2012!

On December 23rd, we officially kicked off our Christmas for 2012!! I will begin by saying that I took a ton of pictures with my regular camera and was using our video camera too so I have few pictures on my phone! I'm going to go ahead and share a few but will post more once I get my camera uploaded!!! We have truly had such a wonderful Christmas and are so blessed to have such wonderful family members to share our holidays with!!! Jackson has had the best time and been so much fun!!! I wish I could bottle up his excitement!!! On Christmas Eve Eve we went to church and then had Christmas at Nanaw and Papa's with a delicious traditional meal followed by presents and a fun game of Monopoly and visiting! That night we went to Gram and Pa's and enjoyed a steak dinner followed by presents and more family time!

On Christmas Eve, we woke up and headed to Bump's for Christmas Eve brunch and more presents!! We enjoyed visiting with Bumps and all our family and Jackson especially loved all the cows and puppies!! That night, we traveled to Marion for Christmas Eve at Jeanne's in Marion!! We had a delicious meal of prime rib then the little kids opened gifts, followed by a fun game of dirty Santa!! We left Jeanne's late Christmas Eve night and headed home to wait on Santa!

On Christmas morning, we woke up to Santa and had Christmas at home with just Daddy, Mommy, and Jackson! The excitement of Jackson on Christmas morning was priceless!!!! It was worth every minute and dime or shopping, running around, being so tired, etc! He was so excited about Santa coming!!! He was so fun and so very sweet!!! Nana, Pop,Gram, Pa, Nanaw, and Papa joined us for Christmas breakfast at our house and came to see all of Jackson's things!! We then left our house and headed to Granny and Papa's in Cherokee Village! We arrived just in time for lunch followed by gift giving for all the little ones and our first game of dirty Santa!! Things kinda went quickly due to the bad weather that was moving in! We left Cherokee Village and came to Nana and Pop's in Marion! On Christmas night we ordered pizza and just rested!! It was so nice to be at Nana's and just to rest knowing we had no where to rush off to!! We eagerly awaited the Christmas snow "blizzard!" We watched Christmas movies and visited and prepared for our Christmas the next day!

On December 26, we woke up to a white Christmas!!! We looked out the window and saw the beautiful white snow! Jackson was so excited to get out in the snow! We weren't totally prepared, but we made do!! After we played in the snow for a bit, we had breakfast and then opened all our presents!! This took a while because we played as we went but that was just fine!! Jackson loved it!! We played all afternoon and then had our traditional Christmas dinner tonight followed by more playing and relaxing! It was such a wonderful and enjoyable day!!

We are so blessed and thankful this Christmas season!!! We hope that everyone had a very Merry Christmas and has a wonderful and Happy New Year!!! We can't wait to welcome in our newest little blessing this year and to add more love and excitement to our family!! Next Christmas, I will have 2 sweet little boys to celebrate with and we can't wait!!!!
